Academy Day

The day starts with breakfast!

We offer a free Breakfast Club here at Oasis Academy Blakenhale! The Club runs from 7.45am until the start of the school day.

During the breakfast club, we provide planned activities to support your child/ren’s learning and get them ready for a full day of education.

For your child to attend breakfast club, you must book a space the week in advance by calling the school office on 0121 783 3960 or using the My Child At School app.

8:30am-8:50am Registration/Assembly

8:50am-10:30am Lessons

10:30am-10:45am Break time

10:45am-12:00pm Lessons

12:00pm-1:00pm Lunch time

1:00pm-3:10pm Lessons

3:10pm School finishes

Total number of hours per week for Years 3-6: 33 hours and 20 minutes

Please note:

• Each year group will spend an afternoon a week doing PE 
• French is taught as a Modern Foreign Language from Year 3 to Year 6
• Some mornings and afternoon lessons will also include MFL (Modern Foreign Languages)
